Built because field knowledge keeps disappearing
Every guided-tour operation runs on knowledge that lives in its people: how the ferry crossing really works, which supplier answers on a Sunday, what to do when the pass is closed. When the season ends — or a guide moves on — too much of it is lost.
Why TourRecap
The problem we're working on
Operators don't lack knowledge — they lack a place where it accumulates.
The day scatters
What actually happened on tour spreads across messages, camera rolls, and memory — hard to connect, review, and reuse.
Standards live in heads
The difference between a good departure and a great one is knowledge that today has no durable home.
Seasons restart harder than they should
New guides start with less than the operation collectively knows, and routes get relearned more than improved. The operation deserves compound interest on its own experience.
How We're Building It
Co-designed with operators, not for them
TourRecap is being built to be shaped by the people who run real departures — starting with the founding pilot cohort we’re selecting now.
Operator co-design
The 2026 Founding Pilot Program pairs the platform with 3–5 operators. Their routes, crews, and field conditions shape what gets built — and we decide together what deserves wider rollout.
Honest software
AI is advisory and people hold authority; status is truthful, including gray; and location means the tour's last verified field position, not employee surveillance.
Want the deeper story? Start with how the operating loop works or the platform itself.
Founding Pilot Program
Help decide what this becomes
We're selecting 3–5 Founding Pilot Partners to shape production.
